so this fall, i took the initiative, and decided to change my major. there was just one small problem - my mom is a scientist who works for pfizer, and i had always seen myself as a scientist, doing research right next to her. i had gone to eckerd for a reason, and it's a very expensive school. i would have had to transfer if i wanted to do something else. however, my parents saw my passion for the arts, and decided to let me stay here. i can honestly say that i am so happy. i'm now an interdisciplinary arts major, with a focus in photography, graphic design/art, and theater. i'm minoring in computer science, hoping to gain experience in computer animation and 3d modeling.
this summer, i'm looking into a slew of internships. i'm planning to apply (or have already applied) for internships with mattel, marvel, two theater companies back home, disney imagineers, mtv, viacom, and my favorite, pixar.
right now, i'm still enrolled in a couple of science classes. and yes, i do have a chemistry exam in a day or two.
next semester is gonna rock my face off.
